Private Home - East Preston

This charming cottage in East Preston was in need of a full house renovation. The existing layout felt enclosed and the internal spaces lacked natural light, resulting in a home that didn’t function effectively for modern living.

The proposal focused on enhancing the flow of the house and creating a contemporary, light-filled living environment that connects seamlessly with the front and rear gardens. Open-plan spaces and generous glazing were key design elements, maximising natural light and creating a sense of openness throughout.

As part of the redesign, we introduced an additional bedroom and a spacious family bathroom, while the new master suite now benefits from an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. Externally, the property has been transformed through thoughtful landscaping, replacement of all windows, and the addition of a new front door and contemporary design features.

The result is a beautifully balanced home that combines modern coastal living with the traditional charm of a seaside cottage in East Preston.
