Barn Conversion - Worthing

This project reimagines a traditional flint barn as a characterful two bedroom holiday let, balancing its rural heritage with contemporary comfort.

The original flintwork and beams have been kept and celebrated while the new accommodation includes a practical wet room for rinsing muddy boots after a day in the countryside, which leads to a shower room, utility and boot room. A hidden door set between the kitchen units opens into a light filled open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, with rooflights bringing daylight from above. Two large Crittall-style double doors open onto a patio overlooking the garden and field beyond. The hallway leads to two bedrooms, each with doors out to the views, and the larger with its own ensuite. A gently sloping tiled path wraps around the building, connecting the patio back to the front of the barn so the whole plot can be enjoyed.
