Coastal Home Renovation & New Build Annex – Worthing

This recently completed project is located along the beautiful South Coast of Worthing, where our team at Fresh Architects was appointed to transform a detached family home through a comprehensive renovation and bespoke new build annex.

The brief was to create a more spacious, light-filled home that better connects with its stunning coastal surroundings. Our design included a full renovation of the existing property, a loft conversion to add two additional bedrooms, and the construction of a contemporary annex, offering flexible space for extended family, guests, or future rental potential.

A key focus of the project was to maximise natural light and make the most of the spectacular sea views, while improving the relationship between the home, the garden, and the surrounding mature trees. Large glazed openings, carefully positioned windows, and open-plan layouts allow light to flow throughout the space and frame views of the South Downs and coastline.
