Our Team
FRESH Architects is jointly owned by George and Maria, both fully qualified, ARB registered Architects based in Sussex.
George has been working in the industry since 2014 and qualified after getting his Bachelors degree from Oxford Brookes followed by his Masters degree from Portsmouth University. George won the Gavin Gray award for collaboration in his Masters and was nominated for the RIBA Presidents Medal for his design. He has experience delivering a wide range of projects and enjoys working closely with clients to make their dreams become a reality.
Maria qualified as an Architect in Madrid in 2014. Before leaving Spain she published a book investigating the qualities of good design and has since worked for several large UK practices. During her career she has developed a broad range of experience in the residential sector, where she has also gained heritage experience and worked with listed buildings. She enjoys working closely with clients, builders and contractors.

Brighton is one of the most architecturally distinctive cities in the country, and that brings real opportunity along with real planning complexity. The city has more than 30 conservation areas, a large number of listed buildings, and Article 4 directions in places that remove the permitted development rights homeowners might otherwise rely on.
