Fresh Architects are designing a full-width double-storey rear extension and loft extension to transform this family home. 

At ground level, the new full-width extension will create a light-filled kitchen, pantry and living space connected to the garden by large sliding doors. The lounge will feature a media wall and integrated gas fire whilst air-conditioning is planned for key rooms. A new cloakroom/shower room will make use of under-utilised space.

The first floor will be reconfigured to form spacious en-suite bedrooms whilst a redesigned staircase will introduce a brighter, more welcoming circulation space, with glass double doors and a contemporary open-riser stair. The proposal extends the loft over the new structure to create a generous master suite with en-suite, dressing rooms, eaves storage, and abundant natural light through rooflights and glazing.

Externally, works include a large pergola, new paving for outdoor cooking and enhancements to the former garage. The home will have new roof tiles, retained solar panels and full-height rendered walls for a fresh contemporary look.
